Earlier Projects

• Disinformation: I was site editor of the US-based subculture site from November 1999 to February 2008 in 3 iterations: the classic "webzine" era, "day's best links" and the transition in October 2007 to a user-moderated publishing version based on the Digg publishing engine.  Publishers Weekly named the New York City based firm The Disinformation Company as the "fastest growing US independent publisher in a 6th March 2006 cover-story.  RSS feeds for Alex Burns, All, Published and Unpublished stories.
